“I do see some of the signage, but I know where it is. I'm very familiar with the layout, so I pretty much just walk straight to it.”

“I usually choose a store where I'm doing all my grocery shopping that's close to me. Sometimes it's Whole Foods. Sometimes it's another grocery store that's nearby. Today, I'm probably going to Stop and Shop. They have a good variety of protein bars at that store.”

“Yes. Whole Foods usually has the ones that I'm looking for in stock, specifically like the go mac macro bars I love. And it's just more conveniently located at my house. They're very friendly here. They're helpful here. And, again, I like the selection, and they're very well stocked.”

“No. There's nothing specific about this store that I prefer. I'm just it's the closest, store where I am this weekend that that sells protein bars.”

“Just the convenience. I live right down the road from one, so this would probably be the best. Then I have some better selection than, let's say, gas station.”

“I am at the Kroger on Brownsboro Road in Louisville, Kentucky. It's, your typical Midwestern Kroger. They got everything that I could ever want here, and this is the place where I typically buy protein bars.”

“I generally go shopping every two to three days. Usually, I make my last minute shop in town versus going to, like, a big box store or a big box store. I actually plan those trips out.”

“Well, this is really the closest store that I can buy everything that I need all at one place. And most of the time, I come here early in the morning before there's a lot of people, but this is one of the main places I do go. So I could use my benefits to be able to get what I need.”

“I just like the pricing. Honestly, they're not expensive, and they're also very reliable because they're very close to my home.”

“I shop for groceries weekly, and I typically visit based on proximity. I do a lot of grocery ordering online, and so I tend to order the same protein bars from, Walmart or Sam's, and I have usually have those delivered to my house. However, we go weekly to Harter House to get meat and deli items, and I will pick up protein bars or various things from time to time. And I stick with the same brand based on familiarity.”

“Not at all. That's why you have reputations and relationships with these places. Right? And you shop at these places. You get used to these places. I know the people, like, literally I don't know if you've noticed, but while I've been talking, I've stopped and wave and look and smile and think that's because everybody here knows me. They're like, oh, it's been a long time. Where you been? Like, these people are like family to me. So, no, once I have it, until you ruin that reputation, I I pretty much know what I'm getting, which is why I come here repeatedly.”

“So this is the grocery store. This Kroger location is where I do all of my weekly grocery shopping, typically on the weekends, usually on a Saturday or Sunday. I think I'm here on Saturday just because of this survey and wanting to to make sure I can participate, and so wanting to to do it a little earlier on a Saturday. But I just have more time to do it on a weekend since it's not during the middle of the work week. And this location is close to home. It's the what I feel is the best selection grocery store in the area. There's also a Walmart and an Aldi nearby, but I don't typically shop those two locations as much. I prefer this Kroger location, not specifically around protein bars, but just because I do all of my grocery shopping here, including grocery or including protein bars.”

“I love Kroger because they've got a great selection, good prices, really good, rewards program. In addition to protein bars, I can get anything that I want here. Today, I also need some Gatorade, so I'm gonna get that while I'm here too. It's nice that I can do all my stopping all my shopping and won't stop.”

“About Myers is that I can get all my things at one location. I also like the fact that it's close by me. It's, like, eight minutes away from me. And is there something specific about this store that you prefer with others? Specifically, I have the m perks rewards membership. I like the fact the more I shop, the more rewards I get, and I can also get free stuff.”

“I choose Albertsons because, it's a store that I've purchased protein bars before. It's close to my house, and it's, got stuff that I'm familiar with. I know where everything is.”

“Dollar General is, like, my go to for the in between stuff because it's super close to my house. Hi.”

“It'll be CVS. It's at the top of my street. It's close and have a good variety.”
