“It has to be something different. I mean, if you see another city within one country, you know what to expect. But if you visit another country, another culture, then you don't know what to to expect. That's why it has the surprise effect, which is something that I really admire. And main influences are perhaps travel travel reviews from other persons who've been traveling in these countries, which is a very nice factor for choosing a place, where to go, to visit, perhaps to eat or to sleep, and so on.”

“So probably both, to be honest. All of those things, really. If a beach holiday, probably the primary purpose is to relax. But if I do a city break, then we want to see, some culture. So when I was in Portugal, we went to Lisbon. So I wanted, particularly my younger daughter to experience sort of the Portuguese culture there and see what Lisbon was really like. I always think about holidays as adventures. You know, often yeah. Particularly if you've never been somewhere before, it's quite fun.”

I also love history, and it always just amazes me, to look at places that have, like, ancient civilizations because there's nothing in this country that even comes close. And I don't know. I just love seeing the world.”

Currently, I live in New York, so we don't have sun all year round. So I love to travel to tropical islands where I'm able to get that sun. I'm able to relax. And then, honestly, this gives me a reset to come back to work and be great to do it all over again.”

Because in Japan, there are a lot of things that you can do. For example, sightseeing, shopping, or some quick eats. There are a lot of foods out there that you want to try. So, yeah, it gave me a lot of, you know, food taste, something like that, and some, you know, shopping. There are a lot of cute items that I could see. “I would say a mixture of both. I normally travel with my family. So there has to be things for some children to do, so there's that's more kind of adventurous, I suppose. We do like to explore, but we like to sort of relax as well. So we'll kind of split the time evenly between, exploring new things and experiences and then sort of relaxing by the pool. So we'll kind of do it. Generally, we'll do more, active things in the morning, and then we'll sort of relax later in the evening. So it's kind of a balance between the two.”

“For one thing, I'm interested in other cultures. I simply want to get to know other cultures, I want to get to know other ways of life. But I also really, really enjoy traveling to inexpensive countries and feeling like a king there. I usually travel with a car, the idea of autotourism, which means I go hiking for two or three weeks or I go canoeing. I really enjoy that. I really enjoy traveling to Eastern European countries because I simply love that Eastern culture. And I like traveling to countries in the footsteps of former Germans who lived there, to explore and travel. So, I often go to Serbia and Romania because I'm interested in Donald Trump. I was in Georgia last year because my grandfather was a prisoner of war there for seven years. But I'm also interested in the Czech Republic this year, in the Cheb region, because I was interested in the minority there. Those were my main topics.”
