“Honestly, it's usually eating out. We treat a holiday as a bit of a special occasion. So rather than, if we've got rather than cooking on accommodation, we'll spend most of our money on food. And then we'll also plan to spend some money on activities like whitewater rafting or some kind of water”
“To be honest, the first thing that comes to mind is probably food. I am quite a an eater. I I enjoy experiencing different different cuisines, different cultures, how they cook their food. And if I'm only in a specific country or area for a few days, then I kind of want to experience as much of that as I can. I mean, not necessarily quantity, but, kind of going to high quality places where I feel I'm getting, like, the best representation of the food that's on offer. And then sometimes buy like tour guides for certain things, paid for a couple of tour guides when I was in Rome so to kind of get the most out of the cultural experience. And, yeah, obviously, things like admission fees to any cultural sites, things like that.”

But when I was in The US, I spent most on, like, the balikbayan box balikbayan or something that I I will bring home, like, ref magnets, keychains, or something like that. But, usually, the most that I will spend my money on is, like, food and tours. Like, yeah, spend tours is very is a must on the travel so that I can, efficiently explore the area.”

So yeah. But most likely, I spend most on some, you know, keychains, small keychains, or, you know, some small toys. These places, they offer some toys. Like, on the on the street, they have some toys or in the store. You know, they have their own souvenirs. So I want to have my own experience and my own memories. So, yeah, I try to buy those on those local stores in the market or in the store and, you know, save them in the future from my memory. But most of the purchase that I had before was mostly foods.”
“I would say, if possible, we make the most tend to be food and drink. We have been to a few hotels, where we've been all inclusive. But depending on the destination, we like to kind of have the opportunity to take out local cuisines, things like that. So I would say food and drink definitely would be what we spend the most on.”
“So, usually, I spend a lot in food because, you know, I should when I go abroad, I don't want to eat a fast food chain unless it, I should try the fast food chain because it's offer different menu from my country. So I think I should do that. But most most of the time, I want to try something new regarding with their culture, with their traditional food, but I'm not into exotic time. But I just want to experience what was the taste of their food like like that because I I'm not go I'm not there every time or every year. So it's just an opportunity for me to try something new. That's why. And regarding with souvenirs, yeah, I do buy souvenirs, but not that much because I really focus on enjoying myself and enjoying the environment with food, trying different kind of travel destinations in that country.”

Like, when we went to Scotland, we did, like, scotch tastings and and probably did, Tilsner tastings and stuff, but then also just trying out, like, the cultural foods. And then I also just really like going into, like, artisan shops and, like, seeing, like, local handmade goods. I also really love, like, seeing if there's, like, cultural items I can get. So I got, like, a a wool sweater when I was in Scotland, and I got, like trying to think of I got some stuff that was, like, a specific artist that's from Prague. I got his, like, prints when I was there. In Germany, I was looking at like, I got, like, lots of beer, drank lots of beer there. So it's just I kind of mostly spend money on things that I think I'll still use when I come back to The US, but, like, can remind me of the trip, and feel a little special and then also just, like, food and drinks.”
“So abroad, obviously, purchases you need to eat. We buy stuff. We go and do excursions, but we tend to, like, buy them locally. Like, on the cruise ship, we didn't book the excursions excursions directly with them. We booked them, like, when we landed in sort of each port, so when we docked. So I tend to spend the most on food and drink, eating out, and excursions overall. We're really mostly drink.”
