“Yeah. I can give you real time, currency exchange rates. Yeah. So when you do make a charge and you think you're spending, you know, a $100 and you come find out that you spent a 110, a $115, that that is important to be able to to do that tracking, you know, in real time as as you're going along.”

“I think the most helpful thing that can be put on that dream card or app is the currency conversion because it is essential, especially when you are going to another country that you have never been to before, it is your first time and you are not sure about the correct currency conversion of that country. It is a big help so that you can have your own knowledge to know how much the currency conversion really is in a country that you are going to.”

“That's a great idea to offer real time conversion and spending alerts. I think that that is very good.”

“I think in a payment card, the special perks it would have or have to make to make my trips even more enjoyable would just be an all in card. So something that offers no FX fees, offers that protection that a credit card offers whilst not charging to use an ATM because most credit cards do charge to use an ATM. And then perhaps having a perk on top of that. So, for example, a cashback element or something like that. I think all of that as a bundle would be, a really enjoyable, financial product to use.”

“So I tend to use my Monzo debit card, and then I always have a credit card as a backup that I've got with Barclays. I use Monzo because it gives the best exchange rates, and it's always a live exchange rates. And they always they don't charge for using your card abroad, and they don't charge for cash withdrawals either. And then I have my Barclays credit card as a backup in case of emergencies, but I hardly use that, or I, will only use it for bigger purchases.”

“Yes. I definitely wish there would be some tools or anything, I can actually keep track because I do not I cannot keep track on spending, and I end up spending much more money than, I was planning initially. And I'll never find out how much I actually spent because I would have some cash and I would have card and I will use both. So, yeah, I'm I'm not great, in, managing these spendings. However, I would really be happy if there will be any tools so I can actually track it and manage it properly.”

“I guess it would be something that that tracks the purchases. And I guess it keeps a running tally, and then it divides the different purchases into the different kinds kinds of purchases they are. Like like, this is how much you spent on food. This is how much you spent on travel. This much you spent on a hotel, etcetera, etcetera.”

“Maybe, like, a all in one type app which has the like, a prepaid travel method that also accumulates points, that also converts the currency. And then maybe, like, your points accumulate, you can use that towards flights, booking, accommodation. Yeah. I think the loyalty endpoints are, like, a perk that that I would use in an app like that.”

“Well, it would be cool to have some travel payment card where I could predefine the amount of money I want to spend during the entire trip so that it has a cap and that I would be notified, according to the parameters I set before, when I reach a certain milestone for spending. But not just in general but according to categories I set up. For example, if there is a card and I can specify, you know what, I want to spend in total, like I don't know, €500 on the accommodation and €300 on food and let's say €200 on leisure activities. So then the card tracks all of these activities according to the category. That would be super helpful and takes up a lot of guesswork and also running the calculations in my mind or on paper myself. Other than that, it is very important that the travel payment card is usable not just in the country of origin or the European Union, but internationally. Or that if there are restrictions that they are clearly stated already on the landing page, not that you have to search for the information yourself. And what is also vital is that sometimes when you make a purchase, then they display the product and everything looks good and shiny, but then as you scroll down on the page or even on television they put some disclaimer usually in font size what six or eight. So it's hardly perceivable by the human eye. And then they state all kinds of restrictions or where their product cannot be used or that you have to pay much more in the second week. And for me, all these practices are simply not transparent. They are highly annoying and usually they're written in legal jargon without any well let's say ordinary terms. And I believe it's necessary to create a service that is understandable by a right spectrum of people, especially since it's about, you know, the time of the year where you have well, you can afford to rest and to engage in leisure activities, and this experience shouldn't be complicated by buying experiences that have strings attached.”

“If we're talking, if we're talking about app, I would like my card to be linked to that app so the app can actually, divide that my, transactions on on the holiday, by categories as well as, allowing me to add the cash amount I have with me or maybe having a section adding, manually. So for me to be able to add manually all the cash I spent, so like that, I can have a clear idea how much I actually spent. Unlike having a total grand total for the holiday. And, yeah, maybe having like some graphics with how how much I was planning to spend and how much I actually spent, including the cash because this is very important. So I can, like, have a a clear understanding.”

“I wouldn't say there's been anything major. As I mentioned, there haven't been massive fees. I would say probably the most difficult thing, is when you're buying something abroad and you don't have that instant currency conversion. So it can be a bit hard to work out just how much, you're spending on something.”

“Yes, I'd also like to have Payback on certain things or on every transaction you make, a bit of Payback, and yes, so that you can see right in the app what fees you've paid, whether you've paid any fees, and how much money you've paid in the local currency. And that's all there already, so yes.”

“At the moment, we're actually dealing with the issue of having a variety of cards and systems that run on different accounts. I sometimes get virtual credit cards, and all this combination means I sometimes lose track. I would really like to have a card that I physically have in my wallet, and that's perhaps stored virtually on my phone, or that I can always select on my phone. I could then not only set a default, but also say, "Maybe use the PayPal account first, or the credit card first, until it's empty, and then switch to another one," or maybe even see what advantages and disadvantages I have, or whether one card might be cheaper than the other. So, for me, the ideal situation would be to have everything electronically on my phone, secured there, with the physical card hidden as a backup somewhere in my luggage or in the hotel, and then be able to pay directly via my phone, and always have a direct choice as to which payment method is best for that particular location.”

“Well, if I'm gonna be honest, I think being able to monitor the in real time, or the in real time costs of the purchases you make into certain countries is actually gonna be helpful because you're gonna be mindful of how much the currency conversion is. See, with my card, I'm not able to see that, unfortunately. So I usually track my spending with base estimates on the currency conversion at the time and plus and plus the bank's fee with conversion. So it's usually tends to be a little bit higher.”

“I feel like it would be easier to have everything in one place to, like, see how much you spend in the day to day life without the need to check, like, two or three different apps, like checking Wise, checking PayPal, and checking my bank account to see how much I spent rather than have it all in one app.”

“I see, clear, surcharge handling fee locally, with the exchange a currency exchange, rate. And, also, you can see all the records, clearly on the map of the card will makes my trip easier and because I can follow-up all my cost and, feel safe too.”

“If I could receive points for traveling if I were to travel somewhere and I could receive points which could later on give me discounts would be very, very helpful. It would be a really cool feature that would I think would make me more likely to use. If it could give me experiences or suggestions of experiences that I could indulge in while I'm there would be well, I think that would make my trip very enjoyable.”

“I mean, just understanding what your balance is and all the cards at any point in time is, would be fantastic if there was one spot, because at the moment I've got to go to three different locations to find out what the balances are. They put them in a spreadsheet and see which one can afford what. But apart from that, I can't see anything else. They're all tap and go sort of stuff for the smaller stuff, to authentication. No. As I said, it's mostly that general understanding of how much we spend on what card at any point of time.”

“Well, an application where I could edit the title of that purchase and put there what was purchased, or which store it was in, which establishment it was in would be great for me to have more control, that it would collect miles and points so that I would have an advantage on that trip or on future trips, that it would offer me the conversion of different currencies, it would show the IOF rates and all possible conversions.”

“If I could create my dream travel payment card or app, some of the features or parts that I would I would want to have to make my trip more enjoyable would be a feature like having to or rather a feature where my my payments are are easily tracked, where how I spend my expenses so that I can't go overboard. So that if I've planned to use a particular amount of money as as a base of what I want to to use during that trip. The the app or feature can tell me where I'm overspending. Another feature would be a feature where it will alert me when I'm making online payments that are that are fraudulent fraudulent. So which will also help me in terms of security. So I believe those two things are among the special features that I would want. One that would help me track my spending and ensure that I do not overspend, and one that shows me security alerts where there are fraudulent payments.”

“Maybe if it could give me, like, points for, like, spending abroad, because, you know, it would entice me it would be enticing to have some points when, you spend internationally. So, you know, you you get some of your money back, I guess. Yeah. And maybe if it's, like Yeah. I mean, if it's accepted in, like, in public transportation in that country, but, like, all of the countries that we've been to were already compatible with it. So, yeah, that that would be nice. And, maybe if we pay like, the exchange rate would be nice as well. Lower transaction fees or foreign transaction fees, that'd be nice as well. So, yeah, that would be nice.”
