“It just shows a bit more into the background of what they actually do at the BBC, whereas I think in the past you just see a negative light about things that are being pushed under the carpet and stuff like that and maybe it's not a great place to work whereas this gives you a bit of background on what the sort of things that they do is.”

“Yes. Very good. Again, just just sort of reinforcing behind the scenes of what it takes to to pull together such a a high quality operation, especially on the news news element. But it's more than just something, you know, that that a person with a camera person on on screen talking about an update. There's there's tenfold behind the scenes creating this, you know, the the the the research and the, like, identifying stories and validating stories and all that behind the scenes to bring a high quality news media and outlet to to to the end consumer. Yeah. For me, the main message was conveying that there's there's far more to BBC than it it looks when you just get in your half an hour on BBC Look North, which is my local news channel.”

“Yeah. It actually installed a little bit of, I suppose, excitement, and it it's coffee covering quite interesting subjects looking at obviously, looking at war, immigration. It was looking at political unrest globally and here in The UK, it's actually quite it's it's a naturally very interesting topic. I wouldn't say joy, bit more trust in what BBC are doing perhaps. Certainly not surprised, but quite excited actually about it's sort of a the behind the scenes of delivering high high quality news is actually locked behind and it's quite exciting to see and it's quite interesting to see what what goes on behind the scenes rather than just having a news report to sit in front of the camera. There's for every one person behind the camera you're seeing, there's probably a hundred people doing research and and and production, etcetera.”

“And I like the way that they put the, the visuals are showing the writing, like, showing what was fake, behind what people were saying. I think it was everything working together that made it good.”

“Okay. So, originally, I thought it was gonna be for some sort of documentary, some sort of how we uncover fakes documentary. I do think it was really good because I I do often wonder with the news whether things are real, whether it's fake, and, like, is it the truth? So I do think it's a really important point that we need to be showing that the BBC is trusted and that they have good sources and that they try to check for if things are fake and how they do it. I'm not sure it came across until the end that that was what it was gonna be. Like I said, I thought it was a documentary. And I think it could be shorter because I think a minute and a half is a long time for someone to watch an advert. Yeah. I think it could have been a bit more to the point. I just find it really interesting, though. So if that is some sort of documentary that you guys are gonna do, then that would be something that I'd wanted to look into. But from what I could tell from that, it was just that the BBC are trusted and that they fact check for information. I do think it was good how you put in, like, a you know, the part about the floor, like, there's a flooring, and that's how you knew it was fake is because of a floor. I think that's really important, and I do think that's something that needs to be shared.”

“Apart with the cameraman in the war area, that that made me feel a bit emotional seeing that. And knowing that there's actually people there, like filming it. Because I think sometimes when you watch the news, kind of forget about the people behind the scenes that are actually there doing it, like getting the real news. So that one was is quite a good part to have in there, definitely. I think the second half of the advert had a lot more of those parts in,”

“It definitely made me more curious and then kind of excited to see what it's gonna be like to, like, watch the press behind the scenes and watch how they work, before the camera turns on because that's something that I've always kind of wondered, like, with the news and stuff.”

“It looked at me by surprise because I was initially expecting it to be about the police force or something to do with public services, not the press. But when I realized, I was just like, oh, okay. That sounds interesting because I've always wanted to know what it's like behind the scenes anyways.”
