Quotes
“So really the only rules I have are like I try to keep plastic or like Tupperware and stuff like that on the top Because the bottom for some reason gets hotter water and it might sometimes melt the plastic stuff or Tupperware If it's on the bottom rack, but sometimes if I have to for space wise I have to put plastic on the bottom I will but it depends on what it is and how important it is how easily it might warp Guiano.andre Doc . That's pretty much it I don't like it to be overloaded also not under loaded and waste money on the soap that I put in it. and when it is done, I usually open it as quickly as I can and shake the racks to get all the drink water off so it dries better”
“The thing that I get a little bit worried about are these glasses. We've had a couple of them break in the past. We bought them a few months ago, and I'm not sure if they're just cheap glasses, but a couple of them have broken in the dishwasher. So I would say I'm most concerned about, these getting broken, but I'm not, very concerned about anything else.”
“So I do think our biggest rule is no hex clads in the dishwasher. I feel like it's just me and my partner, so we don't really break that rule. I don't think we've ever accidentally done that. But if it were to happen, I feel like I'd be frustrated, but I feel like I can understand. My sister is pretty lazy with the dishwasher, and she just loads anything and everything into her dishwasher. So I can see it may be happening, But I'd be frustrated if it happened just because they are expensive, and I don't want to damage them by putting them in the dishwasher.”
“I'm trying to make sure that it's not gonna come out with stuck on cooked on food, you know, because, basically, after it goes through that hot water cycle and then it goes through the drying cycle, it basically bakes the food on. And my experience has been that if I don't rinse everything super thoroughly so that it looks really totally white and clean, then later I'm gonna have little dried on bits that just don't come off. So it really sucks.”
“Yeah. I can reiterate that. I think I've said it quite a few times already, but I'll go ahead and say it again. Always, always, always. I always scrape the dishes. I rinse them. If you looked at them, most of them, you would think they were clean, and they'd already been washed by hand because I have to rinse them so thoroughly. And this has been my experience with every dishwasher I've had in the last almost thirty years. None of them. Every brand, Whirlpool, GE, Frigidaire, everything that I've had, all of them, they they say you can just put the dishes in, and it even has, a food chopper or different things. I've tried all different models in in thirty years. They all say they're gonna work great. They don't. So unless you scrape it, rinse it, and make it look like it's pretty much already been washed, it's not gonna come clean. So I basically put my dishes in there to sanitize them.”
“I think not soaking it or not rinsing it right when it goes into the sink. You know, if it goes into the dishwasher and something was stuck on and it wasn't soaked, I don't think it's fair to say that the dishwasher is always gonna get it a 100% clean. I think it needs to be not having stuck stuck on food. I think it can have some food, like maybe yogurt or something, but it can't have like a hard egg yolk on it. That wouldn't be fair to have the dishwasher clean that, I think.”
“I do not like putting my pots and pans in the dishwasher, and I tell the kids, listen. You guys can clean it. You don't have to put it in the dishwasher because I feel like a pot should be depending on what type of pot it is, it should be scrubbed because all the grease stains well, depending on what you use the pot for. All the grease stains, the oil, sometimes that doesn't come off. Just putting it in the dishwasher. So my big blue look up, do not put any pots and pans in the dishwasher even though the kids still do it, because the the dishwasher doesn't clean them that well. And then once the dish is done in the dishwasher, the kitchen is closed.”
“I would say the biggest concern usually always for me is the ones that say on there that you're supposed to hand wash them. Even though I have experience in putting them in the dishwasher at this point, I still always get a little worried. My main one is this one, my frying pan, and then my mugs that I have, my to go mugs. I get also, one of the other things I do have in here that I only do every so often is my retainer case just to do a deep clean of that as well. That would be kind of my other thing, but that's kind of, not as worrisome. I just do worry it could break, but I could easily replace that case if I needed to.”
“Okay. So this is our cascade, liquid detergent. And so we used to use, I think they're a cascade power pods, and I was so mad. Their their pods ended up removing some of the ink that I had on some collectible pint glasses, and it ruined and, like, melted the ink on these glasses. And I have never used those pods again. I only use this cascade liquid, and it has never done that to me. So that's really important that we use this one in our house.”
