Normal/Daily is the go-to cycle. Users pick one to two goals centered on cleanliness (sometimes drying), read the program name from the display, and expect 45–149 minutes. Action: Make Normal the one-tap path optimized for cleaning; surface dryness or speed options only when selected as secondary goals.

“I feel like that's typically our main reason for utilizing the dishwasher occasionally. Like, after hosting, we will have delicate items, and so we will choose the, like, the one hour wash. It just feels like it's safer. Things do come out still very wet. But, again, with my more delicate and special items, I'm fine with that. But 99% of the time, we're just using normal. We just wanna get it clean to keep the routines of our house running.”

“I've only ever used the normal setting on this dishwasher. It is a new dishwasher and honestly I hardly ever use anything but the normal setting.”

“So I just set it to a normal load with a heated dry, and I just hit the start button. I don't really do anything fancy. I just let it do its thing.”

“I am confirming that I will pause this now and return when this is done. I'm hitting normal on this guy, and then I'm gonna close it.”

“So we normally just choose the regular cycle. I feel like we've tried to use eco or quick cycle and I feel like they never seem to work as well. So we normally just try to do the regular clean. I feel like that's pretty much the standard or the rule in our household. And then we do try to get everything as clean as possible and we do seem to think that that one works the best.”

“I would say probably the load cycle that I chose, just like a normal wash as opposed to maybe a quick run or a delicate run.”

“I actually think it's all of those. I think, part of it is the way I load it. I did leave some space. I try not to put a bunch of stuff really super close together so that it has a chance. Even these plates, they're they're not really that close together. I spread the silverware out so that it gets clean and is not clanking against. I think there might be something to be said with having powder detergent as well as the rinse aid seems to work really well. So I I think it's all of those. I just did the normal setting. I I do have other settings that probably would work good. There's, you know, ultra dry and sanitize and all those. I don't seem to need them. They seem to get pretty clean without it.”

“I mean, it's not really I I I don't wanna lie. I I think the number one rule is you always follow the house rules and habits. Clean it and keep the you know, don't have it too dirty going in. Pipes fight pipes. I can't I can't express that enough. And then get them as clean as possible. There's really nothing special here. Save an energy or water. We have one of the energy saving ones. We could, but this is a normal load. And I think, you know, just running the normal cycle here is gonna get the job done. Don't really it doesn't have to be as quick as possible. It doesn't have to come out super dry even though on a normal load, they always do. I don't need to fit as many things as possible. So, I mean, in this load, these are the best two answers.”

“For right now this is just a normal load that's being washed so the one that really is the most is not really about making sure everything comes out dry I don't want to have to get a towel and dry it and then just fitting as many in as possible it's kind of a little space that's left over I don't worry about the noise as much but getting everything as clean as possible is always my number one”

“Because every time I have to do eggs and make pancakes, I have to wash the pots and pans immediately because the pancake mix will get really stuck, and then the eggs get stuck on the pan. So I wash it, you know, the same day that I cook and put it in the dishwasher. It's just daily habit for me. Just put it in there, drop on pod, put it on a normal wash, and I'm done.”

“I will be using the, normal cycle option and, heat dry and start. Okay?”

“I think what had the biggest impact is not doing water saver mode for this one. I think keeping it as normal wash helped out with that. I feel like if I didn't do that mode or even if I had done heavy wash, I might have done a little bit better. But I think that this mode is what keeps it or is keeping it very clean.”

“And here's me pushing start. So, yeah, it says a hundred and twenty eight minutes. Then, as I said, I will slide this over so that we know it'll be clean.”

“The load was good. Everything was clean, which is truly most important for me. I wish the cycle was a little bit faster. It took about 109 minutes, which normally I don't notice that because I just do it at night. But everything looks clean and it smells good.”

“Yeah. I don't have anything that's, like, super delicate in there, so I don't mind if it's a little rougher and, you know, hotter possibly. I just want it to be clean.”

“I don't want to have to do rework. I want to be able to just come down in the morning, put my dishes away and not have to dry anything. And I don't want to have to, you know, second clean something. I'm sure I won't have to. This load is a pretty basic load and I'm sure it's going to come out really good.”

“Yes. I run normal every time unless on the off chance there's a it has a mode where it's, like, half normal. Meaning, I'm only using the bottom rack or I'm only using the top rack, but I still get the same wet issue.”

“We already loaded in our dishes, but I would say that this is, like, a normal load for us. It's not a ton of silverware. And then just a few things from dinner and throughout the past few days.”
