Quotes
“Well, yes. I rub I rub it in like you saw. I rub it into every part of my face, and I make sure I focus under my eyes and where I have more dark spots, like my cheeks. Yeah. And it feels nice. I mean, it doesn't feel heavy at all. It feels very light. And, yeah, when it's fully absorbed, it's, like, matty. If I touch it, it's, like, matty. It gives kind of matty feeling, and that's okay.”
“The first step in my skincare routine is my under eye cream. So for the morning, I use the Vital Beauty vitamin c and caffeine. And for this, I just use the tip of my pinky and get a small dot. You don't need very much at all. And just tap under my eyes. Make sure you apply it evenly. I have an issue with dark circles, so I typically choose to use under eye products with caffeine in them. That helps a lot with the under eye bags. Just tap it in.”
“Next is my eye cream, and I use this every morning. It's the e. F. Holy hydration. Yes. And I use this finger. Just a couple pat. And I'll pat it on there. Like so. Gonna do the other one. So now I get my serum. It's my e. F. Thirst Burst Drops serum, and it's dewy plus brightening. I don't know if you can tell. It's kinda pinkish, like rosy, glittery, maybe. I'll put that on. I just don't I just don't put it on where I've got my eye cream. K. And I tend to do this to where I rub and I'll pat a little bit more on my eyes.”
“So when I apply my cleanser, I focus most on my t zone. That's where I tend to get a little buildup or oil, but I'm gentle around my cheeks since the area can get sensitive. And with sunscreen, I make sure to really cover the high points of my face, forehead, nose, cheekbones, and I don't forget my neck around and my around my eyes. That's true. And for makeup, I focus on evening out the center of my face and keeping the edges really natural. I try to avoid layering too much product around my nose or chin just to keep everything breathable and fresh looking.”
“So I would go in with the Benefit Porefessional. This is the hydrating one. I would use about maybe a little bit more that amount. Rub it in with my fingers. Apply it into my poor t zone area, kind of pat instead of swiping so that my pores are nice and smooth, and then I'll let this dry.”
“I definitely feel like the moisturizer probably plays the biggest role in the shininess of my, like, forehead, but I also do feel like just the oil buildup throughout the day is what causes that. I don't know if there's a way to make that better, but if I had to say something was, you know, a part of that oil reaction on my face throughout the day, I would say, like, adding more moisturizer would do that. So I think maybe if I focused my moisturizer on the dry areas and, like, maybe skipped over this area, it could help. I haven't really tested that theory out.”
“I typically do the one pump, but if my skin is really dry, I'll probably do two pumps and focus it on the dry areas. Like I said, this area around my lips kinda gets dry, my eyes. Recently, this area on my forehead is dry. I think you can kind of tell. But yeah. Typically, I'll do one pump. If my skin in the winter, I'll probably do two if my skin's really not doing well. But recently, I've just been doing a set amount of one pump.”
“I don't think that any lasting results are going to take effect by midday or end of day. But, personally, I like products that keep my skin looking pretty matte, by midday or end of day. I have combination skin. So, in the summertime or in periods where I am, traveling or really active during the day, I noticed that my t zone gets pretty shiny and oily. So I like to make sure that the products that I use don't clog my pores and keep my skin looking matte throughout the day.”
“the last step of my morning routine is gonna be this drunk elephant eye cream. I'll go ahead and flip the camera again. So just finish up with the moisturizer. I usually just squeeze, like, a teeny bit on my hand, like, one pump that much. And then I put that under my eyes like so here. And that's it for my morning routine per usual.”
“I use, like, this much, like, a full dropper's amount. So you see the whole dropper, I use it to fill up the entire dropper, and I just drop it all over my face. And I don't apply it in specific zones. I just kinda put it all over my face, and sometimes I'll go down my neck. And I don't avoid any areas. And so, like, I don't like to get it inside my eye, but everything else, like, I just put it all over my face.”
“And then after the ampoule, I go in with an eye cream. So this is by the brand Some By Me. The product name is the Retinol Intense, Eye Cream Serum, and I use this just for any dark circles or wrinkles under my eyes, so the application is right. Just applying it, directly under my eyes.”
“I just rub it on my eyes to remove my eye makeup. I'm not wearing any skin makeup, so I'm gonna focus this just around my eye area right now. Once I rub it in well, I will then get some water and then rub it in with water to emulsify it and rinse this off. Okay. So after fully rinsing that off with water, I then pat my eyes dry just so that I can see again.”
