Quotes
“There's this one brand. I think it's called Drunk Elephant. They have, like, super great packaging. Like, the thing is I'm not a big fan of their formulas or their products, but their packaging is amazing. Because of their packaging, you could just, like, you can't you don't contaminate the rest of it with your fingers. Like, it just you press down, and then there's, like, a little bit that comes up out of it. And you just take that and put it on your skin. And so the rest of the bottle doesn't get contaminated. So, yeah, the drunk elephant ones, the ones that were that are really popular with the kids that you just, like, press down on, and then a bit of moisturizer comes out. And then you just, like, wipe it off of your finger and then put it on your skin. The”
“For me, it definitely has to come, with clarity of instructions. I think that's really, really important. Portability is great. That's why I like the travel size, items as well, and dispenses cleanly. That's huge, especially if you're running late. I mean, that is definitely a top factor for me because if it, you know, dispenses and it makes a mess everywhere, if I'm running late, I don't have time to clean. That's just going to make me even later for work. So, definitely, those things are super important.”
“Definitely a dispenser. I think dispensers work well. You can know how much product you're getting and how it can work into the skin. A small amount is goes a long way. It could save you money. So this I will definitely say a dispenser will work well. I would definitely package it with a dispenser. It would have the brand's logo in like, the brand's logo on the packaging along with a dispenser, because I think dispenser will work effectively.”
“What would help would be if the directions on the packaging told the order on when to use them. So if it said to use it following a different type of product, that would be helpful. And then how the package would disperse the product. So if by one press or one squeeze, it gave the perfect portion amount, that would be helpful.”
“The absorption rates, particularly on humid days for a moisturizer would be very helpful. I do like products that have a built in pump, and I don't think too much about how to how much I need to put on. Yeah. That would be that would be it. Something that you could easily get to the bottom of the the the package because, like, the moment when you're if you use a pump and you can't get that last bit out and it's really frustrating, so you have to take it out and, like, start taking the bump and rubbing it on your fingers to get the last bit of the package, I find that incredibly frustrating that, like, last maybe, like, 15% of the package, you can't access easily because it's not designed well to go up the pump or to be removable.”
“Okay. So for all my products, I mean, it's been this is a question that I could easily answer because it has actually been a problem for me before. You know, I don't like when I have to turn the product to my hand. That actually most of it, I put more than I'm supposed to, and I have to spend time returning it back. So having a pump like this actually makes it quite easier for me. And, also, having where I can pump, that actually works very well for me. So in terms of dispensing, that's a top priority. So, I mean, pumping and, you know, the droppers would actually make more sense and make it faster.”
“I think for my Cetaphil lotion, it's pretty straightforward to use, but it's a it has a pump on it. So once that is gone, there's usually still product in there. And if I have to try to get the product out by unscrewing it, that's really annoying and frustrating. And I wanna use up all of it. I don't wanna throw it away if there's products stuck in the bottom that can't get to the pump. So I would say if there is a way for it to come all come out, like maybe a squeezy tube or something, you know, like toothpaste, you can really get all of it out usually. For the micellar water, there's not much bad about the packaging. It does come out pretty fast, so you have to watch how much you're taking out onto a cotton round. And then you do have to shake it up because I don't know what's in it. Like something whatever ingredient is in it, it separates. So shaking it up can sometimes be annoying because it gets kind of foamy as you can see, which I'm not a huge fan of, but that's fine.”
“I think a pump would be great. I know that may not be the most sustainable, but I think pumps have a lot of control. But, also, I think the glass jars like this one are great because they're more ecological friendly, but, also, you can choose how much of that product you can use or you want to use.”
“I know that having a pump would be convenient to get it from the package into my hand and then onto my skin, better than the current process that I use. However, I also think that a pump kinda sacrifices some of the product. You lose some of it along the way. You know, it's it's a lot easier to get every last drop of moisturizer out of a jar like this than it is to get out of a a product with a pump on it. So there's some win and some lose there with that.”
“The pump would make it way easier. Like, you can just and put it in your hand as opposed to I I ain't digging in no cream. Like, I that'll I'll avoid that. I I won't even use products like that. There are lotions I don't use, and I use self tanners that come in a pump because of that, because I do not like sticking my hand down in something.”
“I mean, I love the droppers, but really an airless pump would work so much better. Because, like, getting enough product and dripping it down or dripping on my face, like, it's fun, but it takes a while. So just literally pump done. It'd be even great if I only had to do one pump. Some of these, feel like I have to do multiple. So just an airless pump so I'm not losing any of the product and it's fast. That would be great.”
“Product or packaging tweaks. Just things that are easy to use, you know, when you're little tired. It's very, like, pump pump, good to go. I like my products packaging really, really much. I love my moisturizer. It's so easy. And then when it gets low, which this is a pretty new one, but, like, I can take the pump and scoop it out because I'm not letting anything go to waste. But just easy to use, really.”
“Definitely re reducing frustration, but most importantly, definitely, I would say getting the full value from the product. There's nothing worse than buying something, and you can't even get the most out of it like the EOS lotion. Damn near the whole bottle will be full of lotion, but, like, when it runs out, you can't even get any of it because it's caked up on the sides. And that's I feel like it's a waste. You're wasting so much lotion because of the way the packaging is.”
“Honestly, I think the biggest game changer will be smarter packaging, something that makes the process faster and more intuitive, like airless pumps that dispense the exact right amount or dual chamber products that combine serum and SPF in one step without compromising texture. I'd also love subtle subtle visual cues, maybe color changing caps or timers that indicate when it's time for the next layer. It's about saving time without losing precision. So that's luxury in the morning.”
“I will say I don't really like the way how the creams works. You need to put your finger in the cream. And, technically, it doesn't matter if your hands is clean. You just wash them. It still have some, like, kind of dust from the environment around me. It just, like, an after, like, second after I wash my hand. And I'm not sure how it affect the product afterwards for, like, long period of time, especially I'm using not that much. But I don't really like to use, like, kind of spoons or all of these things. I will say the the ways, like, pumping, or, like, give, like, the exact amount of the product I need to use will be, like, great option.”
“I mean, much as I can, I try to get it out of the bottle if I can unscrew the bottle cap and, like, access the pump? But, yeah, there's certainly a moment where I don't wanna spend more time on it, and there's just a, like, a bit of frustration that I can't get it. And I'm sure that I'm losing leaving a certain amount of of products still in the package. It's just not accessible, and it's not something I wanna spend more time on. But it's wasteful.”
